This painting is based on a
photograph that I took at Black Creek Pioneer Village, on the walkway near
the main building. The differences may appear quite subtle from Step
One through Step Five, but each time I revisited the painting, I deepened
shadows, added highlights and small details to enhance this close-up view of
Canadian Autumn.
