I photographed a few of my
son's childhood "friends" - "Sabastino", "Goggy" and "Red Cat". The
backdrop is his carriage blanket what we often refer to as "The Hershcovich
Tartan". I "rounded out" the painting with his well-used baseball.

... and here are
most of the steps it took to go from the scribble on canvas to the
signed painting. The changes may appear subtle, but lots of work
went into this! The blanket was quite a challenge, but I'm very
pleased on having achieved its fuzzy texture! |
